Is the Vegan Diet Healthy?

One of the most misleading, uninformative questions I’ve been asked many times is “Is the Vegan Diet Healthy?” Which is often followed by “Where do you get your protein?” Well, this opens a can of worms!!! As far a protein goes, it’s nearly impossible to become protein deficient on a healthy, balanced vegan diet. The belief that meat contains the best and most protein is indoctrination, that belief comes from the same people that control, suppress and censor what is mislabeled as education. Nothing gets taught that Big Pharma, Big Food, Big Tech and other big corporations don’t approve of. American schools, from the beginning to the highest levels of medical school are there to indoctrinate us into serving the corporations. Modern science, how money works, how the body works, etc are illegal to teach, unless you’re one of the powerless, soulless elites. Real info is found on our own. If you study the studies on health, from the hypothesis to the publication or info given the public, there will be no denying how misinformed and mislead we really are.

Asking “Is the Vegan Diet healthy?” isn’t a detailed enough question to get a proper answer. That’s no different than asking “Is the carnivore diet healthy?” The answer is the same for each question…”Which one” There are hundreds of vegan diets and the same can be said for carnivore diet.

We’re all aware of how unhealthy a diet filled with fast food, processed conventional food and low quality meats such as hot dogs, sausages and lunch meats washed down with soda will do to our health and how we feel. That’s a carnivore diet. It’s not at all healthy. Then There’s the diet with wild caught fish, organic, humanly raised chicken, vegetables, healthy, non-GMO, organic breads and fruit and nuts, cold pressed juice and alkaline water. That’s a healthy, balanced carnivore diet. See how the question “Is the carnivore diet good for you?” is too vague for any real info. The same can be said for the vegan diet. A vegan diet full of frozen meals, vegan cookies and ice cream, vegan fast food and juice from concentrate is an unhealthy and, much like the unhealthy carnivore diet, can make a person unhealthy and sick. A vegan diet with organic, non-GMO grains, fresh fruits and veggies both cultivated and from the wild, beans and legumes, rice, veggies, high quality breads and maybe a few organic, non-GMO meat substitutes, herbal tea, cold pressed juice and alkaline water is healthy, delicious and nutrient packed. This is a healthy vegan diet.

It’s not the name of the diet that makes it healthy, it’s the quality of the food, vegan or otherwise. Whatever diet we choose, the basics should remain the same…eat healthy, non-fucked-with food straight from Gaia herself. We were put on this planet with all we need of the highest quality. Food fresh from the wild generally is higher in nutrients than cultivated food. Growing our own food ensures we are truly eating real, organic, clean foods. Meats should be of high quality either straight from the wild or from a clean, humane, honest farm. Nothing should be eaten from a conventional farm, GMO farm or Bill Gate’s franken food factories. It’s important to get to know and support the farmers who are raising food with respect to humans and our planet.

The issue of meat substitutes often comes up when discussing vegan diets. There are some pretty delicious meat substitutes available and the variety of recipes that these can be used in is never ending. It’s very important that before consuming any vegan meat substitute that you do your research. The majority of them are made with GMOs, full of chemicals and harmful to our health. There are a few good brands out there. These are great for people transitioning into the vegan lifestyle. I personally ate more than my share during my transition. After a bit more research, it is my belief that meat substitutes are fine if their high quality however, they shouldn’t be in every meal. These days I still eat them but not as much. I’ve replaced them with whole foods and other homemade vegan meals.

When someone asks me about a vegan diet being healthy, my response is “Which one?” I know my vegan diet is healthy for me however, not all of them are healthy. What is healthy for me may not be the healthiest for someone else. The word ‘vegan’ does not equal healthy no more than the word ‘carnivore’ means unhealthy. They are general terms that need more words before they can be labeled as healthy or unhealthy. We need to stop using everything as a method of separation and start opening our minds. Seek understanding, study, research, open the mind. Although I will never eat meat again doesn’t mean I can’t put my beliefs aside and allow someone to be themselves. I can hear their beliefs on their diet, respect it and support how thy feel without feeling the need to argue, put someone down or change my beliefs and lifestyle. Someone believing and living different than me is NOT, in any way, shape or form, a threat to my beliefs, lifestyle or diet.

There is no one true anything that is for all, that’s man made nonsense. I also can’t find an intelligent reason to feel threatened or dislike someone for eating different than me. The act of attempting to change someone’s beliefs or food choices is to support conformity and have no belief in freedom. What we put in our bodies is a personal responsibility and choice, it’s no one else’s business. What is healthy for one person may not be healthy for another. Again, there’s no one size fits all although the big corporations, governments and religion make a ton of money off that indoctrinated belief. That’s all it is…a money maker. You’re not on his planet for that, you’re greater than that.

Don’t believe a word I said here, or say anywhere. Don’t believe anyone. Do your own research, REAL research, not the shit found in Google and other censored and suppressed search engines, CDC or WHO, those are tools of control both funded by Gates and others who want to feed us franken foods and depopulate the planet. Obviously don’t waste your time on the Main Stream Media and main stream social medias or other censored platforms such as YouTube or Spotify. Find unbiased resources from people who do not make money off you. Study the scientific studies themselves BEFORE the raw data to make sure they were properly done and the results weren’t messed with to fit an agenda. Follow the money, who funds the studies can almost predict if the study and it’s results were manipulated or not.

The bottom line is you are 100% responsible for your health and well being. Not a medical doctor, the powerless government, not food manufacturers, not farmers, not the CDC, WHO or other Gates funded dogma based tools of control, not your parents or your partner. It’s all on each individual to take care of themselves. It starts with knowledge and choices. We need to study what is illegal to teach, there’s a ton of suppressed and censored information that will put the corporations out of business if enough people got their hands on it. The beautiful awakening on the planet has more and more people researching and getting healthier as they move more and more away from the dogma the Matrix couldn’t exist without.

You have all the power! You have all the power over your health, healing, even dis ease. We stopped respecting our body’s intelligence and ability to heal and replaced it with medially incurable dis ease and a state of being that has us so removed from what real health and vitality are. We are all more powerful than we were ever allowed to realize. Not one bit of health requires toxins to be put into our bodies, shhhh…don’t tell Big Pharma Big Food I and Bill Gates told you!!!

I’d love to hear about your health journey. It’s so inspiring and empowering to hear about people’s transitions into health. It’s not about perfection or competition, those things are too limiting and get us putting our nose where it doesn’t belong. Start where you’re at, make the changes one at a time and send love and support to others…doesn’t matter how different they are from you. We’re all on this beautiful planet together, its time we support each other while doing our own thing. Namaste 🙂

Merry Meet! I'm a Herbalist, Farmer and Nature Witch in beautiful East Tennessee. I live in the woods with my husband and 2 dogs where we are growing our off grid homestead and herb farm. I love wild harvesting medicine and food as well as making traditional foods and medicines. Being off grid, I'm mindful of the energy we use and what we are doing to the land we all depend on. I do my best to be as sustainable as possible. We're not perfect however, we're always improving! I value my fellow humans, my local, national and worldly communities. There's nothing better than seeing someone get healthier, happier and more empowered to help themselves. Healing isn't just ingesting a concoction or rubbing cream on the skin, it's so much more than that. As a healer, I can't deny that education is part of the healing. I'm of the belief that man made chemicals are responsible for the rise in dis ease. I've seen amazing changes in my health myself after eating mostly organic and Non-GMO. Due to my research and personal experience, I do not allow any chemicals or GMO ingredients in Love of Lotus Apothecary and Farm products. It makes no sense to me to put man made poison or franken plants in Mother Gaia's medicines. When I'm not being a foraging herbalist, I love hiking, swimming in nature spaces, spending time with loved ones, cooking, growing plants and meditating. I love rocking out behind my sexy ass drum kit and spending time with loved ones. Your time is greatly appreciated. Merry Part, Rainie Dae

Let's all share what we know, research what we hear and treat each other with love and respect.
